Coke and Propecia?

I really want to drink Coke now but I just took a Propecia pill. I would really want to drink it but I dont know if it effect the Propecia when drinking Coke after taking Propecia. How long should I wait until I can drink the Coke? NO JOKE

I'm not a soda drinker - but the only soda I will drink is the "real thing" (Coke). I've also been known to knock down more than a few Bacardi n' Cokes from time to time.

Having said that - did you ever see anyone pour a coke on someone else's automobile. That sh*t will eat right through the paint job. Can't be good for your innards.

I never heard of not mixing Coke and Propecia (Don't ever mix coke and aspirin though).

AFAIK - there shouldn't be a problem w/ you having a Coke.

Lipton has just come out w/ a few different lines of Green Iced Tea, available in the soda coolers in most stores. Not a bad alternative.

Not really, they wont make you fat but they have aspartame in them which ain't too good for you. Sweeteners and caffeine are not the best either.

Better than full fat soda by a mile though.

Drink unsweetened Iced Tea. Like I said, Lipton just came out w/ some that have honey or lemon flavoring.

I grew up in India where you make fresh coffee with a filter (often times from a freshly ground powder bought the previous day), with sugar and fresh milk directly from cow/buffalo (15 minutes- 1 hour old max). Wow, I miss that. I am used to drinking coffee and tea hot.

Now a days, I mix instant coffee powder with skimmed milk and drink twice a day. What a big compromise. I have tried iced tea and coffee, don't like the taste.

Thanks for your suggestions though. I will try lipton's unsweetened tea (it has been more than 3 years since I tried the iced version). I might like it.

Original Dr Pepper is the greatest soft drink ever. That new Z line of drinks with less sugar are, as expected, revolting. A long time ago there was a hubba bubba (bubble gum) soft drink. It was great, then they canned it. Shame...

Pepsi goes down WAY better than Coke and Pepsi products are better. BTW, drink whatever you want. Im not saying to drink 3 liters of soda a day. But you shouldn't be scared off if you go in moderation. Moderation just like with everything else in life. If it's not the ingedients in soda, it's the products in Caitlin's hair that'll get you.

I went through a Dr. Pepper phase too once upon a time - wayyy before those revolting commercials came out ("are you a pepper?")

Atlas - thanks for sharing. Funny - I always heard a combo of coke and aspirin would eat your stomach up. That's whay I always heard you shouldn't combine them. (now if I knew it was supposed to be a way to catch a buzz . . . . :hairy:

neil, I hate to say it, but I think that you're right about that When I was in Europe I noticed that folks tend to be healthy and not as beefy as us in the US. Although I will have to say that the French idea of a meal, cheese, wine and bread t'aint the best either :wink:
