Hey all,
Great forum you got here.
I'm a 31 year old male. I have a closely shaved head, not Mr. Clean bald, but more of a buzzed shaved head; a #1 clipper extension to be specific.
Anyways luckily I don't have any hair loss, but I do have a major issue with shampooing.
When I shampoo with traditional shampoos with have sulfates and such, I get acne like break outs on my forehead and sometimes on my face.
When I use Nizoral shampoo it gets rid of any acne like breakouts, but leaves my scalp very dry and flaky, looks like its snowing on my head.
Lately I've been going the no shampoo route, just rinsing and this is actually working great to completely get rid of the break outs.
However my issue is when I cut my hair or buzz it with the beard trimmer, if I just rinse my hair, I have tons of little hairs left in my head and around my forehead. Kinda embarassing.
My latest thought is to use baking soda and water as a shampoo/rinse on the days I cut my hair (once every 4-5 days).
Was curious if there are any other guys on here with buzzed heads and what you do for your shampoo routine?
Any recommendations are appreciate.
Thx
Sunny
