Based on Jahoda's experiments, alleogeneic transplants should be possible unless future discovery proves otherwise.

That guy, can you please clarify what you meant? You mean possible or not possible? I have always been intrigued by person to person transplant.
Do you have a link to share?

It's my understanding that the cells necessary to form a complete follicle are interdependent and given that, I would expect there to be a tissue identification/compatibility factor specific to the individual that could lead to outright tissue rejection. ???

I second this. Everything I've learned is that the hair needs to be of the same genetic makeup to be accepted by the body.

I sometimes think about digging up graves of recently dead fullheads and stealing their hair to be transplated onto me..

cant say the body will accept it, but maybe could try?

Well if you've ever had any orthopedic surgery, dental implants, or periodontal surgery, you probably already got some cadaver bone in you. Might as well add some hair.

Yep. An allograft as it is called, can be from a cadaver. It's freeze dried, sterile and generally safe. Commonly used and the dead folks don't mind.
