The good new is they just sell blanks, and don't put chemicals in there to trick the chemists. I think it costs Merk so much to test because Merk uses very expensive equipment to identify exactly what the ingredients are, whereas I'm just checking to see how many ingredients are in there and the approximate size and the UV spectra and am checking for the presences of flourine.
