That is hour Bryan, but I don't know if that is a real Doctor. Even if he is, it would not prove much. Most docs don't even know about tricomin, nizoral, or recommend dutasteride. Shows how much they know. And maybe this guy has a motive of some kind. He can say anything he wants on the other end of the internet if he does not give his name, and nothing will happen to him.

To which argument did you refer as interesting?

the whole link. I liked all the name calling. We don't see much of that here on HairLossTalk.com. On hairsite it is the standard for every thread.

Jeez, there was no one on there who had success with proxiphen also. I am still waiting to hear some success stories on proxiphen. I don't doubt the product, but wish there was more positive feedback on the product.

I want to know if anyone uses it with propecia, or just by itself. Also, it is probably used on the hairline, not denser areas where minoxidil is usually used. And there is a cream version and a liquid version. Though minoxidil is in a liquid vehicle.

Those are some factors that need to be accounted for when judging it. But you could not find any success stories, or are you basing that on the thread?

No, I am saying that over the past 4 years or so that I have been on these boards I have never heard of one person having a success story with it. That is of course, besides Bryan. It is used as an all over scalp treatment also and not just the hairline. The liquid version you have to apply twice per day, but I never really have heard of anyone using the liquid version. About 1 year ago I did use proxiphen for around 6 months or so and saw no change in my hair. Basically, I should have given it a full year, but it became expensive at the time. I am now thinking of giving it a go again, but like I said I am very hard pressed to find anyone, besides Bryan, that has had success with it.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed that thread! :)

The poster calling himself "Common Sense" (or just "CS" for short) is certainly among the most colorful individuals I've ever dealt with on the Internet. However, I can't really say that I'm sorry he's gone. What a smarmy person he was...

The funny thing is that a few times in the past, other people have said the same thing. I finally got so tired of hearing that claim, I went and culled a bunch of posts from alt.baldspot from enthusiastic Proxiphen users, and posted them all together! It's funny how people have SHORT MEMORIES, isn't it?

Do you want me to post that list here, too?

Yes, I would appreciate it if you could. I'm thinking of starting it up again and it would help ease my mind :p !
