I'm old user Yurguardianangel. But have had login problems with my other account as I stupidly changed my email and password during the mental breakdown I had.
I had a mental breakdown a few weeks ago when my only hair system broke. And ended up shaving my head again out of being very pissed off and angry as hell.
I kept having extreme itching problems where I couldn't wear a hair system past 3-4 days.
I tried full thin skin, and hybrid so far. And many tapes, glues and a scalp protector.
Hybrid was less itchy than full thin skin, but still got incredibly itchy after 3-4 days on the poly perimeter.
I thought I had dandruff and/or dry skin. But mostly likely it's the sweat and adhesive breaking down causing the extreme itching.
As the last weeks of having a shaved head I've had very minimal itching.
When I wear a cap or beanie and get hot and sweaty, my head itches but not as bad as when I was wearing the hair system.
So only full lace would suit me.
The hair system from HairHub I had broke a few weeks ago.
Terrible 'quality' as well as the hair was dried out,and hair pulled through the wrong side of the base easily when cleaning the tape residue off.
And the final straw was the poly part detached at the edge perimeter from the lace centre when I removed it after it woke me at night with extreme itching.
Was like the glue/sewing etc or the lace itself had torn. I thought hybrid bases was a lace base with poly over it. But this seemed to be lace with a poly perimeter joined together.
£300 down the drain after 2 months.
I need to try a full lace base before I give up forever on hair systems.
I really love the hairstyle I had and I felt less depressed and anxious wearing the hair system.
But I won't give up till I tried a full lace base. And should be easier to remove too. Spray lace release through the hair and peel it off.
I'm not paying for an expensive hair system such as MG Ford.
£460 + remote cut in of £72 is too much for me now, especially if I don't get on with it and I get itching problems again.
Plus I don't have a job anymore. And I used up all my savings. So I have very limited benefits a month currently like around £250 a month.
So I'm growing my side/back hair out again.
Although it grows f*****g slowly. Still stubble after a few weeks.
Hopefully by October it will be long enough for a colour match and to blend in with a hair system.
This time I will go with a stock hair system.
Places like NewLaceCU only need the head measurements and correct colour.
The rest I can pick myself such as the lowest density they offer and sending them a photo of me with my old hair system or a pic from their selection for the remote cut-in.
So my options are getting a stock hair system from:
NewLaceCU (Hair System DIY still uses them on YouTube and he is UK based too).
LordHair (Although they get a bad rap for poor quality pieces).
SuperHairPieces
Bloody import tax on all those though.
Anywhere else cheap I can get a full french lace hair system from that offers a remote cut in like those do?
Please let me know.
