Based on your photos, you appear to be around Norwood 2. Here’s why:
• Temple recession is visible but not severe – You have an M-shaped hairline, which is characteristic of Norwood 2. However, the middle portion of your hairline is still strong.
• No visible crown thinning – Your crown area looks dense, with no clear signs of balding.
• Overall good hair density – Your hair still has volume, and the thinning is only noticeable at the temples.
This is not Norwood 3, because Norwood 3 typically has deeper recession into the temples, sometimes extending towards the mid-scalp. Right now, your hairline is matured but not aggressively receding.
If you want to preserve and possibly improve your hairline, now is a great time to start a maintenance routine with Finasteride (DHT blocker), Minoxidil, microneedling, or PRP therapy. Are you currently using anything, or do you want recommendations?
