I currently am using Finasteride 1% once a day. And using minoxidil 5% twice a day. I am thinking of changing my morning minoxidil to saw palmetto 160 mg extract directly to scalp to replace it. What do you think? Anyone here ever apply the extract directly to the scalp? I would mix one soft gel with one teaspoon of warm water and apply to scalp using a dropper. Feedback welcome.

I apply SP to my scalp, but I also use minoxidil. minoxidil is a growth promoter, SP is an anti-androgen, they complement one another. Are you getting minoxidil sides?
Count, I have used minoxidil for many years with no sides but just recently I tryed it with dermaroller and had severe sides with eyes and facial breakouts. I give up the dermaroller and no longer have the sides but minoxidil no longer stops the hair loss like it had done for so many years.
