Castor oil

I read castor oil is good for scalp and hair growth in Aromatherapy book.
Any one using this oil and having good result ?

Castor oil seems to be used traditionally in Ayurveda field.

Main ingredients of castor oil is Ricinoleic acid.

I'm interested in Ricinoleic acid.

Anyone has wisdom about Ricinoleic acid ?
