FUE’s performed on a 49-year old Caucasian male with
• Norwood III - IV Vertex
• Donor density of 88 FU/cmÇ occipital, 88 FU/cmÇ parietal, 80 FU/cmÇ temporal
• Hair diameter of ~50-58 microns


Treatment plan
1st Follicular Unit Extraction to attain an aesthetic reconstruction of the hairline.
2nd Follicular Unit Extraction recently performed to rethicken the crown area.


Performed procedures
1st FUE (January 14, 2019) - hairline
Follicular Unit Extraction with 3420 FU:
* 518 single hair FU
* 1855 double hair FU
* 1047 triple hair FU
HGI: 2,15

Parallel incisions in custom-sized blades technique (Cutting Edge blades of 0.7-0.9mm).
Extraction performed with a 0.85 mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle.

2nd FUE (January 7, 2020) - crown area
Follicular Unit Extraction with 2647 FU:
* 181 single hair FU
* 1280 double hair FU
* 1060 triple hair FU
HGI: 2,35

Parallel incisions in custom-sized blades technique (Cutting Edge blades of 0.7-0.9 mm).
Extraction performed by WAW-system with a 0.90 mm serrated trumpet punch.

No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts.
