Hello everyone! I haven't been on this forum in a while. I have been on finasteride for ~3 years and long story short, my hair is very thick. The medication has been great to me and I believe I made an excellent decision in starting the drug.
Being the start of summer, I have recently decided to start dieting and am cutting some calories out of my diet and am amping up my cardio to 45 min to an hour a day which includes running on the treadmill and doing the elliptical. Obviously cardio is great for you and might even be beneficial to hair, but I would like to know what would be a safe amount of calories to cut in order to not shock my system and go through telogen effluvium that I was told might happen if you crash diet. Being a hair forum, let me know if any you guys have advice and/or knowledge when it comes to dieting and your hair!
P.S. I'm 6'3" , 220 pounds, and I am 21 years old.
Thanks in advance!
