My father is interested in a vehicle that is price pretty reasonably (a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer) but he is concerned that Chevy doesn’t make this vehicle anymore. How much of a concern is this? How badly would he be affecting himself in the future in trying to either trade it in, or sell it?

Companies stop making lines all the time for various reasons. Ford mustang & Toyota celica for example. Awesome lines but gaps in production.

Excellent point Cassin!

As a former Mechanic in my younger years I will tell you to not worry at all. Cassin is correct, vehicle manufacturers discontinue certain makes and models all the time. It will not affect anything, no worries. Also, my Mother had the Trail Blazer and she loves it!

Did they offer the SS in '06? That Trailblazer SS is sexy as hell...

it wouldn't make too much difference in the near future, but it might be tiny bit harder to get parts for it when it gets really old
