Caps/Hats after applying Rogaine

Here in the extreme cold climates of New England its common to wear cold weather caps, hats, etc to stay warm outside, and even inside. If you apply Rogaine foam and let it dry, then put on a cotton type of cap that comes down over your ears to stay warm, or just wear a hat in the summer time,..does this type of thing effect Rogaine foam? I sometimes apply rogaine, then wear a cap to sleep at night just cause its expensive to keep apartments warm. Any thoughts?

I don't wear hats too often but I don't think hat would affect the effectiveness of Rogaine. Just make sure it dries a little bit so it won't end up on the hat instead of your scalp.
I'm also in New England, Connecticut. Today is pretty cold here for October but I don't wear hats, even in the winter.
