Capex, Dandruff and Hair Loss

I could use some help. I have been on Proscar for 5 1/2 months now. This whole time, I had severe dandruff that wasn't helped by Nizoral. So a week ago, my doctor put me on Capex, some heavy-duty shampoo with topical steroids. Since then, my dandruff has greatly improved and my hair loss has slowed (somewhat). My question is: Could 5 months of bad dandruff have negated the Proscar effects? Did the fact that I continued to have severe dandruff mean it wasn't working all that well?

yeah, i've been on propecia for 4 going on 5 months and minoxodil for 3 going on 4 months...this whole time i've been using nizoral and t gel but i still seem to have pretty bad dandruff. Anyways do you think this capex stuff is worth a try and is it by prescription only?

Yeah i'm curious about this too. I found that capex has a mild steroid in it... don't steroids contribute to hairloss? or is it just the anabolic ones that contribute to hairloss?

I had to get a prescription for Capex from a dermatologist. Although it has really worked well on my dandruff, I can't really recommend it because I have no idea how it will effect my long-term hairloss.
