Can you cut 5mg Proscar into 10?

Hi,

I currently take 0.25mg Propecia daily for my hair loss - i cut a 1mg tablet into 4

But i was wondering can 5mg Proscar tabs be cut into 10?
so once i finish the propecia i could try proscar as its cheaper

Or even cut it into 8?


Is the Proscar tablet much bigger than a Propecia tablet?

Proscar tablets are oval and drop shaped. It's difficult enough to divide them into 4 equal pieces. Trying to cut them into 10 pieces would probably just give you a pile of powder and small, random sized pieces. I recommend sticking with propecia, if you only use 0.25 mg. You would still save a lot of money.

cutting proscar into 10 pieces is almost impossible
even with surgeon precision

some one on this forum was able to create interesting dosages by putting proscar in everclear alcohol

and then he used an eye dropper to administer the dosage

i cant remember what the increments were

but im sure you can find his post if you search hard enough
