I'm very confused, 15 months I had a perfect man bun, had a buzz cut after and everything is good, I just don't understand how I went like that in 3-5 months. Our heads look very similar indeed but yours looks more full?Hey man, unfortunately that is not due to stress, its just androgenetic alopecia and diffusing in that pattern is usually a sign of a long fight ahead. I have the same thing aswell our heads look nearly identical. It gets much worse quickly and if you want to keep your hair I suggest you get on finasteride and minoxidil soon.

I went to 2 doctors, dermatologist told me take minoxidil for a month and come back, and another doctor to check body minerals, and found out I have some deficiencies like in Vitamin D, gave me few medicines to boost my vitamins, iron etc. , next week will a month will pass and will go to the dermatologist again to tell me what is my next step, I have to be honest I see a small improvement in these 3 weeks, but not much tbh. When I was a kid my cousin was balding at same age or a little bit older I remember he used to put some sort of drops on his hair and now he is all good. Dad and 2 uncles are bald, rest of family are completely normalhttps://www.hairlosstalk.com/intera...-finasteride-noticably-below-baseline.116603/
Take a look at the 3 pics I posted here. The last pic was from a bit after my exams finished so around late May. I first started seeing hair loss in late April. And now look at the diffused sh*t I have now. This type of hair loss is generally really aggressive when you start at our age because so many areas on our scalp are sensitive to DHT. I know your dad went bald in his 30s but you may have inherited it from someone else? Look at your dad, you dads dad, you maternal and paternal uncles and your moms dad and maybe both your grandparents dads and i'm sure at least one of them have a similar pattern. For me my dad was bald nw6 at 21 so I knew this was coming since I was a kid.
If having hair is important to you then I wouldn't wait any longer to get on treatments.

I did blood test, Vitamind D was deficient, testosterone was in normal range but she said it's at the high side, and my prolactin was a little high which is weird? The drops that your cousin put was probably minoxidil. Yeah definitely get your health in check first and make sure you aren't deficient in anything anymore. Hair growth takes time so even when you are healthier it might take a while to show if poor health was the reason for your hair loss in the first place. Did you see any hairs falling or have any scalp pain?

Minoxidil made my scalp really dry and lots of white flakes keep dropping, I don't know if it's dandruff. No pain though.
Don't think I'll take finasteride don't want to mess with that, I know some people will say oh only 1% or less are affected by it's side effects but you may never know.Goodluck bro! I saw on your other post that you are accepting of going bald anyways so things will work out just fine, if that really is the case then no need to even mess with your body by taking finasteride.
Any other opinions guys?

Well this week will be 3 months, my family told me a few days ago they see a slight improvement but I don't see it at allStress doesn't cause permanent hair loss. If it's stress than it will grow back in the next 3-6 months.
I've been using minoxidil gel or 3 weeks now, I don't want people to say im delusional and won't accept that im balding which I do, but I read male pattern baldness takes time to develop while my hair fell in literally a month and a half, this week is my 3rd month since it started, I read if it's from stress it will take 3-6 months for recovery to start, so i'll update for sure, also my 2nd appointment to the derm is next weekThe top of people's heads thin randomly through their lives though your hair line moving back+thinning on the top is a good indication it is male pattern baldness. You can always just wait to see if it grows back if you do not want to use treatments. Also if the Minoxidil liquid is too harsh you can use the foam or non PG containing versions like Lipogaine-Sensitive.
