Can someone answer me one question ?!

Been on Finasteride for 8 long months ... I've only taken a 9 day break and I've quit minoxidil after 9 months of usage due to a constant annoying itch/dandruff. I've been off minoxidil for a month now and my scalp is much better regarding the itch. I don't have dandruff anymore either. My hair is taking a dump right now and I'm below baseline obviously from quitting minoxidil. I can't use that stuff it ****s my scalp up. My question is if anyone can answer or share their experience is will I continue to show progression since I'm still on Finasteride even though I quit minoxidil ? Everyone says wait it out a year til you can evaluate results. It has been said quitting minoxidil will cause you to temporarily below baseline until your hair returns to normal had you not used minoxidil, how long does this typically take ? I haven't had any luck with these questions, so if anyone can share some insight is appreciate it. It's the saddest thing being on a treatment for such a long time with hopes of something positive just so you can disapponted

What formula minoxidil were you using? Liquid or Foam? Brand?

I was using Kirkland foam 5% since day one after 7 months I switch to Rogaine foam since it didn't have pg ( I thought pg was irritating my scalp). Switching gave me no relief I mean I seriously would scratch my head 24/7 for 4 months straight since the onset of irritation, especially in the crown area where and the dandruff was located. I'm relieve now that I have no itch or dandruff but I'm just wondering will I still she progress even after quitting minoxidil since I'm still on Finasteride and im almost to the year mark
