Can Rubbing your Scalp Hair Line Cause Hair Loss?

I always worry about my hair receding and was wondering if rubbing near the hairline can cause hairloss? Sometimes I will keep my index finger on my hairline by the temples and just keep smoothing it and feeling it non stop to see if it's going back further. Could this be causing it to go back even more?

Nah, I've always thought that hair that;s going to fall out from such little movement as that will be falling out on it's own very son anyway.

When I first started shedding I would never touch my hair in case some came out, now I don't care lol.

I doubt it, but with that said you should be easy on your scalp I wouldn't vigorously rub it though because when I do that a lot of hair comes out, it would probably fall out anyway but it still bugs me.
