I'm thinking about trying it but I hear horror stories about shed hair not growing back or hairlines being eaten. Is this rare? Fear mongering?

I've heard the same thing. I've had a 3 month supply, sitting in a box for a year.

guys the fact is if you never try anything for fear of shedding etc then you might as well just shave you head and go bald.

ignore the fear monger's, 2 years ago I had some guys posting on my first threads here saying how bad propecia is..regardless I took the plunge and 2 years later my hair and me are doing good and I couldn't imagine life without min & fin.

If you don't use it, your hair will get worse guaranteed.
If you DO use it, your hair might not get worse, but it also might get better.

I didn't know there were horror stories with Rogaine. I've never had problems with it.
