Can My Hair Be Restored At This Point?

I'm 24, have been noticably losing hair for about 4 years now. I started using rogaine about 2 years ago. I used it for maybe 8 months before getting tired of it. Then After a few months I started up again and did it for a year straight. Then I got tired of applying it twice a day every day again and haven't used it for about 3 months now. I feel like since then it's gotten progressively worse. Here are some pics of where I'm at today. I currently take biotin and use nizoral. I'm strongly considering getting on finasteride but I'm not sure if it's even worth trying at this point. Just wanted some real opinions if my hair is salvageable or not. Hell I might even be willing to use rogaine again

It’s pretty bad but salvageble... you’ll definitely need rogaine and propecia. Also buy a dermastamp 1.5mm and wound weekly, this is absolutely critical for regrowth. You can use nizoral if it helps your head not itch but tbh I don’t think it does much otherwise... biotin imo is completely useless

Thanks for the response.
I've had the same feelings about nizoral and biotin. People always include nizoral in the big 3 though from what I've read for some reason. I haven't seen any results or even maintenance of hair since using it ‍♂️
I think I might have to start the rogaine again and get on propecia forsure.
How does dermastamp work though? I've never heard of that

You poke your head every 7 days basically... it bleeds and will hurt at first, but you’ll get used to it. It’s critical for regrowth, if I recall correctly a study comparing rogaine alone to rogaine+wounding the latter grew like 3 times more hair

I’d say you are nw4 now? You can probably regrow to atleast nw3v which can be covered with the right hair style. And after 2 years you aren’t satisfied with your regrowth then you can get a transplant

Wow. I don't know if I'm willing to literally poke holes in my head every week but we'll see. I'm not that desperate yet. Ya I'd say I was a Norwood 3v about a year+ ago.. things have gotten a lot worse recently with the stopping of rogaine.

Oh dermastamping/rolling isn’t that bad to be honest, and you get used to it pretty quick! I highly encourage you to do it, if I recall another study dermarolling alone was actually more effective than rogaine alone. It’s really great. Check out this guy’s results!!

That guy's results are very impressive. Maybe I'll have to consider it. I notice that he's been on and off with the rogaine too in the beginning
