so i've noticed for the last few weeks my hands (fingers) and feet (on top of feet, and all around) have been getting very hot and tingly and numb feeling...i did bit of research and i thought it was neuropathy and maybe i got diabetes, but i did a blood test and my blood work numbers seem fine... im not on any other medications, but im kinda wondering if minoxidil can cause tingling? i saw online that tingling can be a side effect, though its not very common, and ive been on minoxidil for like almost a year, so not sure why i am getting this tingling now....any ideas? do you think its the minoxidil? do any of you guys got tingling from minoxidil? is it serious? tbh ive been kinda burnt out and i feel like maybe i should start shaving my head lol.

Wow, so i just had an interesting convo with my dad.... im normally pretty close to my mom but my dad doesnt talk to me much...but just now i called my mom and was kinda crying to her and was like "do u think ill look good bald" ? and she basically said "go google buddhist monks, and if you think that looks good, then it's your call..." - but then i called my dad and he actually super supportive, i guess cus he could relate to losing hair and stuff, and he's like "yeah just shave it and you'll look fine, don't worry about what your mom said" - and thats probably one of the most supportive things he has said to me in many years :O

Carpal tunnel?

i dont think so because i dont do anything intensive with my fingers that would bring carpel tunnel, and i feel it in my feet and hands on and off, not sure if that can also be carpal tunnel?

^ +1 for that.
Unless he's on HGH I can't see another likely explanation.

It could be hypo/hypertensive reaction[albeit highly unlikely] in response to systemic exposure to minoxidil, but again this is highly unlikely. Moreover, unless you're taking stimulants or PDE5 inhibitors in conjunction with nitrates (for angina pectoris) I can't see any other possible explanation

i saw online that lot of times the tingling can be cus too much minoxidil being absorbed, and i have been using about 1.5ml twice a day lately....do u think if i just cut down to 1ml a day would that still be effective enough to help hair loss?

I use like 5ml of minoxidil a day and I don't experience any hand tingles.
Only if I'm on GH or I take too much vitamin B6.
Adderall gives me some tingles too
