Can Irritable bowel syndrome affect dutasteride and oral minoxidil effectiveness?

For the last 4 months I've been losing hair when on dutasteride and oral minoxidil. The first 7 months was working wonders but now they stopped to work. One of my theories is that I've developed irritable bowel disease, because my mother and sister have it and I'm having symptoms( bloating,constipation) and I don't know if that is leading to poor absorption of the meds due to IBS.
