I am 24 and started experiencing hair loss about 2 years ago. Male Pattern Baldness. I went to the dermatologist and after he told me that I had this, he also told me that I had folliculitis. He prescribed some antibiotics for the folliculitis and also suggested Minoxidil, accompanied with some Biotin supplements. So my questions are the following:
1) Do you think it's safe to use Minoxidil when having folliculitis? Meaning that using it won't make my folliculitis worse than it already is. My doctor just suggested to do all of the above together, but I still worry.
2) Do you think I should start using Minoxidil? I am very worried since I am 24, which is still young. But I also don't want my hair loss to get worse. I uploaded some pics for reference. For one I split my hair (I have long hair). The other picture is how I normally style my hair.
