I have a recession in my template too. The default C-contour or whatever is absolutely ridiculous looking unless you plan on wearing your hair entirely down. Even then, I think adding recession makes the bangs hang more naturally. When I started, I used the C or CC Lord would ship in their stock systems, rocking a semi-exposed hairline.
Even with the same cut & style, things got a lot more realistic when I began to cut into my hairlines...
Yes, you can have that hairstyle - but it works better if the hair isn't long and pulled back. On another forum I saw someone who had it. He'd fully shave his head, then apply the mohawk toupee strip to his head. It was a good look as he'd altnerate between being fully bald and having that mohawk
