Can I cut back on dutasteride use?

Currently taking 0.5mg dutasteride daily and I'm pleased with the results. I've read that it has a long half life and it builds up in your system so I'm wondering whether I could cut back to 0.5mg EOD. My reason for doing so is the lack of info on the long-term effects of using the drug, plus I'd like to increase the length of time before it begins to become ineffective.
Also using minoxidil, RU and Revita.

anyway there will be only a small difference between every day and every other day use. This drug is used in large ammounts by men with prostate enlargement so long term effects are documented

Would you recommend going for 0.5mg EOD or 0.25mg ED?

Dutasteride has a half life of over a month.

I'd recommend a loading dose of 5-10mg at start to achieve 60-80% of steady state concentrations. Then 0.5mg twice a week or so.
