Can Hair Loss Possibly Stop Indefinitely, Or Does It Eventually Start Up Again And Keep Going?

Hair acts differently for everybody. Some never go past a norwood 0. Some get to keep it at norwood 1.5. The lucky ones.

I have seen people get the "balding" hairline and this suddenly stops and it doesnt progress from there. (Happened in my family).

To answer the question. Yeah it can halt on its own and may or may not thin up again after a while. Somehow i see a pattern of hormonal influences. There just isnt a definitive answer and if there was we would have a cure now.

Yes that can happen. Everyone's eventual pattern is different. My uncle lingered at a Norwood 3-4 for decades before rapidly progressing to a 7 in the span of a few years.

Typically male pattern baldness is progressive. However, everyone's final Norwood level is usually determined by genetics. Look at relatives and try to see which pattern u r following.

Early hair loss sufferers (I also started losing around 16ish) are unfortunately known to have more severe balding patterns as their follicles seem to be more sensitive to androgens. It's all a luck of the draw in genetics.
