Can Finasteride Decrease Hair Loss Just After 1 Month Of Use?

So I have been using finasteride since 1 month and during the last 3 days I feel shedding has decreased by 50%.

It is weird because just before 3 days the shedding has increased to a scary point but then the shedding suddenly declined.

I am still shedding alot but compared to the baseline I feel shedding has decreased by 40-50%

Is this possible? Or is it just in my head and I am not really quantifying my hairloss correctly?
I always read that finasteride needs 3-4 months to start working that's why I am not sure !

On the other hand I still have itchy scalp from time to time and somedays I feel it occurs more than prior to finasteride use.

No. It starts working right away, but generally you can't see results for a few months due to hairs life cycle.

If you are a good responder you would see signs of regrowth in around 3 months, so it seems to me you'd see a decrease in shedding in 1 month.

I've been on it 6 months and only recently have I seen shedding decrease.

I’m on it .5 for 10 months, don’t know where it’s taking my hair but I’m hoping it benefits me

The tricky thing is people are supposed to shed hair everyday 50-100. So no matter what we are still going to see sheds.

Hair loss has unfortunately increased today and it is back to what it was before finasteride

It was amazing the last couple of days how I had to run my hand through my hair 4 or 5 times to get 1 hair. Now it is back to what it was, everytime I run my hand through my hair I find 2-3 hairs on my hand. It sucks and I don't know what happened. I thought I was a good responder ffs.

If this is just one day I wouldn't worry. You can lose 100 a day, sometimes more, and be totally normal.
