Can Clips Be Used If You Dont Have A Lot On Top?

Are there any variations of clip in type attachments that use side and back hair for clips? If so can you post a example? Thanks!

Also anyone with experience using a clip attachment? Do you have to put the clips on the piece yourself?

You don't clip to the hair on top, you clip to the back and sides. I only see clips being used in some of the vids coming out of the Middle East and India. You still need to tape/glue the hairline. It can also cause "traction alopecia" on the existing hair. Why bother?
