Can anyone tell if this is a good/bad or no sign at all.

Hey!

After four+ months on finasteride and nizoral I´m recently losing more and more short black hairs - they are black and as thick but short - about 3 - 4 cm not longer. I don´t really understand the logic behind this fallout. I´m not surprised to see 15cm long hairs fall out but 3-4 shouldn´t these boys stay a bit longer?

Probably just a synchronized shed from the finasteride. Probably a good sign. Stay the course and report back in 6 months, nesta.

I don´t shed. I lose like 100 hairs in the shower every 3rd - 4th day (yes I do not wash my hair more often then that).

They short hairs represent the majority of hair that fall out when tug really hard on my hair.

I will not bullshit you, so I will state that Nizoral will do nothing for your hair loss.

It will, at the very best, have a minimal effect. It is a dandruff shampoo.

I use it, but don't ever expect it to help with my hair loss.

Because they are all short hairs as you describe that are falling out, it might be a synchronized shed from the finasteride. Ride it out.

I don´t use nizoral that often.

The big guns of my regime are spironolactone and finasteride. I think I will restart using minoxidil because I don´t want to shed from not using it.

I used to use Tricomin but it seemed to increase shedding - which for all I know might have been a good sign.

So on a daily basis spironolactone 2% and finasteride.

Once a week or once every 10 days nizoral - because I never had an itchy scalp.

I´m thinking of adding Revivogen only because I want to make sure I´m doing what I can with topicals.
