hey alll i have been on proscar for 7 months and just this saturday while i was out i noticed a pain like a brusing pain close to my pec area. The ONLY way i feel it is when i touch it kinda like a black eye you know? BUT the thing is when i look at it in the mirror theirs NO BRUSING what so ever! ANd i noticed this on saturday and its still there like i feel a slight pain when i press on the spot but other then that i cannot feeel it. IM so scared that this may be a sign of GYNO can anyone help me? specially those who have had it as a side effect?

I don't think it's gyno. You probably pulled your pectoral muscles by accident. The muscle is quite big and so it won't show bruises through the skin as easily as a smaller muscle, the biceps, for instance. Give it about 4-5 days and see if it gets better.

does gyno affect each side of the chest equally?
is your soreness only on one side ?

LOL, nothing stolen, just some good ol' fashion violence, luckily I was very drunk and on vallium (diazipam) for a muscle spasm I got in my back on tuesday (very painfull!!!) so I felt very little, just shocked me!!, it's been quite a week I can tell ya!!!!!!
The way I figure it is if you only run into trouble with some violent idiot (them not me) once every 10 years and come out of it with a sore jaw you are not doing too bad.
Still the preceding 6 hours was pure fun, went to a pre-launch party for some shity bands new album (really really awful, I was crying with laughter at one stage they were so bad) met some friends from a famous rock band and some not so famous ones, got drunk for free (yeeeaaahhh!!!) got into a couple of clubs for free (yeeeeaaaahhh) got punched to the ground (boooooo!!!!) woke up with a sore jaw and a big cut/scratch on my back just above my bum!

is there a lump under your nipple or the imeadiate surrounding area?
On the side that your feeling this pain lift that arm above your head. With your other hand use two fingers and press around the nipple area and see if you feel a lump.
That is one sign of gyno.
Other signs include puffiness (coning) of the areola, itchy and/or painful nipples.
It can also only happen on one side when it first starts out.
If it's your pec muscle that's sore I'd say it most likely isn't gyno. Gyno pain is usually only located in the nipple when something is pressed hard against it.
However the pain that I felt was a burning sensation (nothing like a bruise) and it was in my entire left pec and it felt tight and swolen. Very simular to the "pump" you get after a chest workout. I also did not have a lump on that side but I did on the right.
GIve it a few days and see what happens. It's not like your going to wake up one day with a full grown rack.
If in a few days you're still feeling that pain get to a Dr. Preferably an Endocrinologist.
