So basically I have a question for you guys..

I want to go to get a hair tattoo, as my desired hairstyle is extremely short, but I also want the "stubble" feel. At the moment I leave my hair to grow for about a day before the stubble feel comes, will i be able to shave my head if I get a hair transplant and the stubble feel will also come from the hair transplant areas too?

basically what im trying to say is, I want a hair tattoo, but I dont want it to just be tattoo on skin, I want a tiny bit of stubble, just for the feel, not for the look. As ill be shaving my head every other day anyways.

Thanks in advance.

the thing people should understand when they still have alot of density, just a receding hairlone, is that a transplant can induce shock loss. When u cut out tissue from the back of the head, and implant in in the front, the surrounding tissue can suffer.

so u might pay 7000$ for 2000 grafts, and end up losing 1000 hairs that were ok. It doesnt happen all the time, but its why i think u shouldnt get a hair transplant if youve only minimal loss.

That was a major concern of mine, being classified as 2A hair loss. I ended up getting 2000 grafts and have lossed a little bit more. Not sure if the loss is permanent as it has only been 5 weeks. I was told that growth in the area goes dormant and even the natural hairs that fall out may still grow back when the transplanted hairs begin to grow. Does this sound correct?

Either way, I am happy with my current hair line and having 2000 future hairs will only be a bonus. I just want the hair loss to stop (I have taken Propecia for 14 years and a generic finasteride for the past 2 years).
