Please let us know who you are!
When you started, where are you at now.. Where you see yourself in 5 years/future..

Also, anything else to the stack or alter your regimen ever?

Same link i posted in another thread, the long term effects are best in those who start losing the hair around age 30 and those who has the best result the first year seem to have the best long term results as well (captain obvious co-edited the article i guess)
https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/re...-to-investigate-long-term-effects-and-safety/
After 10 years, almost 69% of patients who experienced growth in their first year experienced continued growth. Only 32% of those who saw unchanged or worse results after their first year had growth at 10 years.
it is particularly beneficial for patients over 30 and who are in early stages of hair loss.

saw that before but still a good reminder. I'm 30 and I know my hair hasn't gotten worse since I started a year ago, perhaps minutely better.. so cheers to hope!

There are plenty veterans on here but why would they stick around? For example, I just searched finasteride veterans and found this https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/finasteride-veterans.46653/

There are many other threads/users just like this. The truth is most men have success with finasteride.

93% of men in the 10 year study were unchanged or improved after 10 years. Also, an additional 4% were only slightly decreased in hair counts after 10 years. Combined, that is 97%. This leaves the remaining 3% who were moderately worse off than baseline. Maybe these 3% were falsely diagnosed with male pattern baldness or maybe there were other contributing factors.

Keep in mind, these 10 year results, which are pretty impressive, were only with finasteride 1mg. No minoxidil, no special shampoo, and no hair transplants.

I started approx 9 years ago, I started at around 25 at the first signs of loss. Had excellent results for approx 7 years and last two years I started to thin out drastically. In fact I lost no hair using anabolic hormones for those 7 years yet started losing a lot using no hormones in the last two. My only theory is that perhaps in my genes or something I was destined to lose hair drastically in my mid 30s.

Started it in 2002. Had a couple breaks (where I lost ground).

Check my other posts as I am not going to re-write it all..
