Hey guys, I’ve started taking CDG to balance out my hormones whilst I’m on dutasteride and also to help me out with high estrogen related symptoms.

Now, I feel much better when taking CDG (higher libido, stronger erections etc) however I feel like my hair is shedding somewhat more.

Is there any correlation with this/any way it could be worsening my hair loss or would this strictly be coincidental?

Thanks

i found this : https://www.livestrong.com/article/35111-calcium-dglucarate-effects-testosterone/

maybe it could raise slighty testosterone but if you are on dutas you hair shedding is probably not related to it.

if you are new to dutasteride probably is some shedding that hair needs to regrowth more thicker. that happens when you start hair loss treatment like dutas or minoxidil.

however i would stay away from that drug. if you want less estrogens better to find other options like switch to finasteride or take duta every other day..

Yeah I originally started with finasteride but then had to switch to dutasteride to achieve optimal results. I’ve been on dutasteride for nearly 2 years now which is why it confused me when I got a shed from starting CDG.

Studies have shown that taking finasteride with an aromatase inhibitor (something that inhibits estrogen) leads to an increase in DHT, which is probably what is causing your shedding.
