There is a new study showing that finasteride triggers depression in almost 50% of the people taking it.

Link? I can't find this study anywhere.

We all know that the circulating DHT accounts for maybe 5% at most of the DHT at fault.

All DHT is bad if it can bind to a receptor in your scalp. If it is circulating through your body then surely it can.

I keep hearing the depression with the finasteride, I wonder if the avodart users have any of these syptoms.

Depression while on these drugs I believe happens because of a decrease in Testosterone. Same with the libido and erection difficulties. Its all linked to T.
I recently saw a show about using steroids in bodybuilders and they also suffered depression from T fluctuations. Even suicidal tendencies have come from this.

Unless my mind has completely gone, I'm pretty certain that average Testosterone levels increased amongst the Avodart trial subjects. Nineteen percent has a familiar ring to it.

I don't think you understand the function of finasteride/dutasteride.

haha, finasteride and dutasteride dont cause depression, hair loss does. I felt a bit depressed when i noticed i was thinning a lot then i got on finasteride, 8 months later my hair looks good and im not depressed anymore, in fact quite happy. Its not supernatural.
