I am 25 and noticed a general thinning all over the top of my head about 1 1/2 years ago. The thnning has steadily continued and I have finally gotten over the denial stage and started propecia about 3 weeks ago. So I know I have to wait it out to see any results.
But here is my question, my hair has always been on the thinner side and my scalp/hair has always been VERY oily from the time I can remember. Its so oily it looks wet when I wake up int he morning and now that is has thinned out so much it looks even worse. Could this have an effect on my hairloss. What other than male pattern baldness or stress can cause significant hairloss. No one on either side of my family is bald or balding which has made this even more difficult to accept.
