Bryan, Iv'e seen your prox-n/nano before and after pics and they are pretty impressive for a two year difference. I see youve not only maintained but thickened a bit as well.

Anyway, I just had a couple questions:

How often did you apply prox-n , once or twice daily?

Did it affect your hair quality as well? I see you maintained, but did it thicken it a bit too? (hard to tell from the pics)

Would you suggest applying minoxidil before or after prox-n, or, like dr p says, does it not really matter?

Thanks.

Where exactly are they? I have been looking for them for quite some time.

Where on earth did you find those pictures??

Twice a day.

Yes, you can see from the pics that the hair around the baldspot thickened a little. It was noticeably lighter (thinner?) in the "before" picture.

I'm not sure about that. In general, I don't like the idea of applying one solution directly after another, for fear that the first one might then act as a sort of a "barrier" or obstruction to the second one. If the two solutions are already mixed thoroughly and then applied together as one, I don't have as much of a problem with the idea.

Frankly, I personally would apply Prox-N and minoxidil at different times of the day. At the very least, I'd apply Prox-N first, then wait at least a few minutes for it to dry and be partly absorbed, then apply the minoxidil.

oops! i think i led you guys on to believe that i JUST saw the pics, i should have been more specific. I meant to say that I SAW them several months ago on this site but am commenting on them only just now. Seeing as yours are the only regrowth pics i've seen with prox-n and nano, and seeing as how i'm about to start both, i figured I'd see what you had to say about them.

I'll probably only use prox-n once a day, then use nano 2-3 times a week and nizoral 2-3 times a week. Or is there any real point to using nizoral if im already using NANO?

BTW i should add that Im using Nizoral now every 3 days or so.... I just realized you arent supposed to use avodart (which im on) which ketoconozale... does this go for nizoral 1% shampoo as well?

No. They're talking about systemic (oral) ketoconazole. The ketoconazole in Nizoral Shampoo isn't absorbed systemically to any measurable extent.

Sure. NANO shampoo and Nizoral shampoo clearly work in different ways, so I'd certainly use them together. On separate days, of course. I think they'd be a good complement to each other.
