Bryan,

after reading your statement:

"Personally, I think that SODs are probably roughly similar to minoxidil in effectiveness, and also nicely complementary with it. "

I'd like to answer you:

How do copper peptides promote hair-growth? Do they act on the CAUSES of hairloss as propecia, spironolactone, nizoral and spironolactone do or, on the contrary, do they act just on the CONSEQUENCES providing an 'extra offset of growth' ala minoxidil? :)

thank you.

I'm not Bryan but from memory I think its a little of both, by reducing inflammation SOD's increase the growth phase of the hair (as minoxidil does) and they also have some anti DHT action.

It amazes me the length to which people will go to avoid directly asking whether a treatment protects the hair follicle from damage. Offsets, "underlying causes", "the process"...

No one knows, although the answer will vary depending on whom you ask; e.g., the patent holder seems optimistic.

Yes copper peptides are clinically proven to work. Procyte are the leading suppliers of copper peptide formulations. Procyte supply both Tricomin and American Crew with copper peptides.
