Hello, i'm 18 and a couple month and starting generic finasteride.
CCS WROTE THIS "as for development, if you have happy with your height and penis size, go for it. I don't know if finasteride affects either of these. "
I am not happy with either of them. ITS resonble that DHT can effect them. THE GUYS WITH A LACK OF 5AR2 NEVER GROW A NORMAL SIZED PENIS.
I DEVLOP PRRTTY SLOW COMPARE TO MY FREINDS, AND ACTUALLY I STILL LOOK LIKE A KID- NOT ALOT OF FACE HAIR, KID LIKE FACE ECT. maybe i still have DHT dependent developing to do , and finasteride will stop iT. what should I do ?

You've left out some important information. What is the current state of your scalp hair?

So you have to ask yourself, is it better to be bald or be short and not well endowed. I think your choice is clear: be short and small.

I'm not clear from your first post whether you're already 18, or whether you're about to turn 18 in a couple of months. Either way, you're rather young to be using finasteride, and it would be inappropriate for any of us here to try to give you medical advice. However, if your doctor gives you the go-ahead after you've discussed your concerns with him, then go for it!

I will add one other comment, though. I'm surprised that in a questionable case like yours where you're right at the age threshhold that would be considered reasonable and acceptable to use finasteride, nobody has suggested a sort of compromise to you: why not split the difference by using a so-called "micro-dose" of finasteride for a couple of years, before switching to a full dose? Perhaps 1/4 of a Propecia tablet (or even 1/8, if you can manage it) for a couple more years until you turn 20 would be advisable. It won't squelch-off as much DHT as the full dose, but will still presumably provide _some_ protection for your scalp.

Bryan, My Doctor doesn't care he just gave me a Perscription and sent me off, meaning He sees nothing wrong with it.I am 18 .
I turn to you cause you have lots of knowledge. mainly i'd like to know, the guys with out 5AR2 , what hapenns with them- they never grow a normal size penis ? My penis is bigger then when I was 3 or 7 But maybe it stil will grow? As for hight - the LACF OF 5AR2 GUYS DO GROW TALL, SO ILL BE OK WITH HIGHT. actually I don't care not to grow higher them now.

MERCK LETS over 18 people to use the drug, is this enough ? they surely checked thier facts, otherwish they'd be open to law suits, no?

I really want to regrow my temples, them maybe I can just maintain with finasteride. is there ant info out there about youn age and finasteride?

THNKS ALOT, I JUST WANT TO BE A NORMAL HUMEN WITH HAIR !

Then GO FOR IT! If it's ok with your Doctor and it's ok with Merck, then start using it.

That's true, but you're probably already fully developed in that regard, at the age of 18.

Yes. If anything, they would be extra CONSERVATIVE about something like that.
