I have posted a similar thread, that was regarding 3 alpha HSD enzyme which is increased by administration of Broccoli's active ingredient "Sulphoraphane", That perticular enzyme is responsible for degradation of DHT to its metabolites, there is a theory that balding scalps may lack in 3 alpha HSD activity which leads to DHT accumulation hence baldness.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26923074 read this study.

i also want to try this but unable to get sulphoraphane in my country. if you want to try, this supplement is the best
https://www.amazon.com/Thorne-Research-Crucera-SGS-Sulforaphane-Glucosinolate/dp/B004FUHIJM
crush some pills and make a topical at least use 1% concentration and increase it.

It's a reversible conversion. The DHT that converts to 3α-androstanediol can convert back into DHT via the same enzyme.

Unfortunately this product actually is Glucoraphanin (http://thorneresearch.ca/crucera-sgs/) which needs to be ingested for conversion into Sulforaphane. It's actually very diffult to find concentrated Sulfoaphane.

sorry, i sent the worst one...

whats the difference between those two?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Antioxidan...8&qid=1491824302&sr=1-2&keywords=Sulforaphane

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jarrow-Bro...8&qid=1491824302&sr=1-3&keywords=Sulforaphane

i see, that the first one has crazy dose, but the other one has Sulforaphane-Glucosinolate or is it the same as Sulforaphane?

The first one is only 2.5mg per capsule.

Sulforaphane Glucosinolate is Glucoraphanin, which needs to be digested to become Sulforaphane.

If the goal is just to reduce DHT then you might as well take finasterine. At least you're sure to get some results.

see if you inhibit DHT formation, side effects happens because several neorosteroids will not form which leads to mental sides e.g depression. on the other hand quick degradation of DHT leads to less accumulation of dht at hair follicle and none of of your neorosteroid will reduce. so this pathway is safer , theoretically.

There seem to be people posting positive results ( not hair wise though ) from brocoli sprouts ( not capsules, you have to grow them yourselves ). I think the best deal for Europeans is this one https://www.amazon.de/Hirundo-Produ...32&sr=8-1&keywords=sulforaphan&language=en_GB

it's 50mg per capsule, not sure about the brand though. And i'm also sceptic about taking capsules, even though the research paper states that people were taking capsules

I posted I the alternative section asking if anyone is trying a high alkaline diet. I remember Tom Brady sporting a horse pattern years ago and now his hair is amazing. Turns out his diet is 80% alkaline based worth lots of sprouted foods. There's piles of information about alkaline diets in these hair loss forums but no success that I know of.

How do you know he wasn't treating hair loss conventionally? Just sayin.
