hi guys
stumbled across you lot so thought id say hi and introduce myself. 29 years old from the UK, and the old hair line has started to go backwards
Read a few articles on the net regarding minoxidil and nizoral shampoo but wanted to look into it further before deciding on an approach.
Crown is fine, and hair is quite thick i guess, but my hairline on my forehead is creeping back, not receding at the sides like Phil Collins, but the whole lot is disappearing.....
Father who's 69 still has thick head of hair, but his 2 brothers are bald (albiet both 70 yrs old) and my only cousins on dads side are both bald too, 40 and 44 yrs old
On my mothers side, only uncle is bald as is his son (60 and 34 respectedly) and my mums sister has 2 sons, 40 and 41 both with a thick full head of hair. not too sure if it is a genetic thing but thought I'd explain family history a little.
Myself, I've spent a lot of time in hats/caps in my younger days and go from a really short crop (no 1 all over) then grow it messily long for 7 or 8 months and usually chop it off again, not sure if this helps/doesnt help?
Any advice or comments greatly appreciated
