it has been almost a month, i still didn't get my libido back.
this is the longest i've suffered low libido, i recovered off pyri and CB much faster than fluridil, so it's either fluridil has wors sides than them when taken long enough. or the damage to the libido accumulates with time and even low potency anti androgens will f*** you up on the long run

i just booked another appointment with my doctor, hope he refers me to a specialist (endocrinologist perhaps ?) time to do some real tests because this shitty state is taking longer than expected.

i'm getting even depressed without libido. i guess that's what old people feel.
I am more or less like you. I stopped everything: fluridil, reishi, CB. Etc. Nothing.
My libido didn’t come back yet. Do you know the fluridil shelf life in the body?

so i went yesterday to the doctor, he said that we should get some general tests done first before sending me to a specialist
i did the tests this morning and i just got the results, it is surprising to me, i have some values outside normal range for the following :

Total Cholesterol (high) , HDL (low) , Triglycerides (high) , Transaminases ALAT (SGPT) (high)

can this be linked to anti-androgen use ? or is it just because i've been using coconut oil for years now

Send me your Whastapp by private messenger. I will do blood test also.

When I was on Pyri I did test, and my HDL was extremely low, but no idea

DM will be enough, let's not make a big deal out of this.
just consulted the doctor again, he said nothing is that serious regarding these out of norm values, he gave me food recommendations to help adjust these values (it's true i've been eating saturated fats lately) and wanted to refer me to an urologist (WTF) i said why not an endocrinologist ? since i don't think anything is wrong with me physically, so he wrote me a letter to go see an endocrinologist finally ?!?

also my guess is that high Transaminases ALAT (SGPT) may be caused by loss of muscular mass since it exists in muscles too.

will keep you guys updated

This is an issue for endocrinologist, not urologist. I will look for a good endocrinologist for me.

after months of waiting, i'm in full force (libido) now.

i have a theory about why this happens, i think when i'm on these AR antagonists, when the drug is attached to ARs on the follicles, blood T rises, because it's not attached to the blocked AR.
i remember whenever i started an AR antagonist cycle, first it raises my libido, then it gets shut down on the long run.
it's like what happens when you take TRT and roids, the body stops producing T on its own because it's present with high quantities in the blood.

i had this idea when the endocrinologist said that bodybuilding who do TRT may lose libido for up to 2 years.
then i remembered how fluridil at the beginning made me the horniest that i've ever felt in my life (i remember a night where i kept waking up all night because of it)

anyway the endocrinologist gave me more deep hormonal tests, i didn't do them yet. i'll do them later to see if my T levels have increased or not.

update : i didn't do the deep hormonal tests yet.
i recently discovered that by taking vitamin D (and multivitamins) my libido gets through the roof
that's why i got back on fluridil. to test for the last time if my libido gets shut down this time while on vitamin D.

Be careful men, you don’t want to have permanent erectile dysfunction.
What multivitamins are you taking?

it was some generic ones.

it seems that while talking vitamins i can tolerate fluridil better, but the sides are still noticeable that's why i'm done with all this.

bald head life ahead, i hope it's better than death at least

Better than death? Better bald than die due to a heart attack produced with a hairloss treatment. Can you imagine how many heart attacked produced by finasteride and dutasteride, that will never be diagnosed?

by other hand, I think the only real option that doesn’t mess with sexual hormones is the company amplifica. The rest of hormones treatments are useless

When Will Breezula® Be Available?

Cosmo Pharmaceuticals is attempting to make Breezula® the first new medication to be FDA-approved for androgenetic alopecia in nearly 30 years. If current trials go well, Breezula® for hair loss could be approved for use in men in 2026
Flipping hell, I still remember when this thing was going to come out in 2020 and even then it appeared a long time to wait, you can believe this will get delayed again and maybe come out in 2028 and have worse results than finasteride.
