break in finasteride usage

i have been of finasteride for 3 months and have experienced good results with no side effects. my question is what are the ramifications for not taking finasteride for about 2 wks as this is how long it will take for the finasteride to arrive? additionally, i have quiet a bit of finpecia 1mg if anyone is interested in purchasing. i cannot take this brand as it has caused me side effects when compared to the brand i had been using for 3 months. thanks

bump. anyone know about the effect of short term lapses in finasteride usage??

It probably won't hurt you much. It takes about a week or two for DHT levels to return to normal after you quit finasteride, and longer than that before you start to lose hair again.

Also, if you want, you could take half a pill (0.5 mg) to stretch out 7 pills to last 14 days. Studies have shown that 0.5 mg is almost as effective as 1 mg. Or even take it every other day.
