Hello,

I'm a 31 year old Asian male. After having denial for years about my slowly but surely receding and thinning hairline, I've finally decided to come to grips with it and do something about it.

I'm roughly a norwood scale 2 so most of my hair loss is on those corners. I think I'm slowly starting to thin throughout as well. My dad is 63 and has a full head of hair with no male pattern baldness but my grandfather was about a Norwood 3 or 4 when he passed away at 70. I'm guessing I got lucky and inherited his genes.

I read the guide on this website regarding hair loss and the whole outline about hormone blockers and growth stimulants and decided to buy the Revivogen bundle + Rogaine foam. However, I just noticed on the box that it says its only for hair loss on the crown. So, I guess it's not gonna do anything for my receding hairline then? Also, it seems like a lot of ppl on this forum are writing off Revivogen and saying topical DHT blockers don't do anything and propecia/fins are the only answer. I initially bought Revivogen because the guide on this website mentioned it as a good substitute for people who are scared of sexual side effects. Are both these treatments a waste of time and money for me regarding my type of hair loss?

PLEASE HELP A SCARED AND LOST NOOBIE OUT!! :(

topical DHT blockers are for people who get sides from finasteride. Just take finasteride. No, rogaine etc. does not only work on the crown. The reason they put that is the studies were only approved for the crown it should work almost as well for the hairline too. Apply it to your hair line and you will likely get similar results as the crown

Whew, that's good to hear. I was going to not open the box so I could send it back for a refund...

Seems like there's a good number of people talking about their Propecia related side effect horror stories. Do you think this is just that people who are seeing the side effects will make their problems known, whereas people who are seeing success just go about their day without posting about it?

Google hair loss talk success stories big 3.

Then start the big 3, and then after that avoid this website like the plague, except maybe the success stories forum every now and then. There's way too much bro science and way too many people on here trying to scare you with stories about non existent side effects of non existent friends of friends.

partially. I think most people who see results from the first line of attack (finasteride) leave the forums and never come back as their problems are solved. The ones that remain are people with sides/people it did not work for and also knowledgeable people who just hang around because they enjoy discussing it. Some people here have never taken finasteride in their lives and a good amount of the times they are the ones telling people not to take it as it will give you permanent ED or its poison or something else retarded

This.
From now on I'm hopping on the "pics or it didn't happen" band wagon. Sick of all these people claiming horrific sides from finasteride. Your dick doesn't work anymore? Your dad's friend'a dick doesn't work anymore? Prove it. Show us your floppy unable to get hard dick. Until then bug off.

Also consider the age of some of these people claiming sides like ED after like a decade of use. These people could have started taking finasteride at 40. Maybe ten years later they do experience some form of ED. Well yeah, theyre 50 that kind of stuff happens when you get older, your dick isn't going to get as hard as it did when you were 18.
