Bomb,
I know this is going to come completely out of left field and may cause a stir, but I dont believe that you are suffering from male pattern baldness. You have said in your previous post that your hair situation was similar to mine i.e hairline still intact with general thinning all over coupled with a painful and itchy scalp. As Dr Lee has said, this scalp pain is not consistent with male pattern baldness. What I have is more closely related to female alopecia and I think this may be in your case as well.
This may be the reason why you feel Propecia is not working for you. I am not sure whether you suffer from any anxiety or psychological disorder e.g.depression, or have had certain events happening to you in the past, but I believe you should have alook into this theory. As Dr Lee has mentioned, Derms and Doctors do not understand Scalp Dysthesia so you may need to research it. According to the article Dr Lee refers to, it states that it is more a symptom of telogen Effluvium associated with depression or psychological disorders. It is treated with Anti Depressants which calm the nerves around the scalp. Women who were treated with antidepressants, treated their scalp conditions and grew back some hair.
I am not sure, maybe you can give us some more background??
