Hello guys, I am a 25 year old male, suffering from male pattern baldness+Telogen Effluvium.
My hair started receding and thinning a lot after a recent knee surgery that took place in June 2013 (ACL reconstruction).
I was losing my hair at an incredible rate, which got me on finasteride back in mid October.
However, for some reason, I got warts on my face after taking finasteride and my skin looked very dry and bumpy.
Also, my hair fell out at the same rate it has been before.
I did not get my blood level tested, but I plan to do so in a month.
Seeing all the bad reactions, my doctor told me to drop it after 50 days of use.
After dropping it, my hair definitely falls out less. It has been 5 days so far.
My hair itches less as well, but warts have not gone away yet.
I think I am one of those rare cases that have allergic reactions to finasteride.
I was wondering if anybody had a similar experience. Your comment would be appreciated. Thanks.
