After 2 month on finasteride i have notice more body hair is it normal ?

yeah... I guess it is.

take a look at the area around your eyebrows and cheeks, you are most likely to find a hairy surprise.

I never noticed any additional body hair, infact the 5+ years I've been on it (been off and on lately though) I have had very few new body hairs come in.
I thought it was minoxidil that grew additional hair? (I don't use minoxidil)

Unsurprisingly, what causes body hair among many many other things that happen in the body is poorly understood if at all. Your guess is as good as mine. Androgens are heavily involved since most women dont grow full beards and chest hair. Specifics on how much each one contributes is anyone guess.
