Hi everybody , i am going to order a system very soon, a lace type, probably a French lace. I read somewhere that you cannot bleach the knots of a black hair system? Is it true?

You can bleach them, and the decent manufacturers do bleach them, but it is true that generally they are not bleached to the point where they are totally invisible, because in the case of black hair that would require such intense bleaching that it would damage the hair and lead to it breaking and shedding.

Notwithstanding that, the majority of wearers are OK with the factory-bleached knots. But a perfectionist minority order their systems with a strip of blond hair along the hairline, which they then dye black, leaving the knots blond and invisible. Whether that extra process is worth it for you is a matter of taste, and probably depends on what kind of hairstyle you want to achieve. If you are going for a style with a fully exposed hairline it's worth thinking about.
