Black eyes (rogaine foam)

Hi guys,
I've been using Rogaine foam 2x a day for exactly 2 weeks and starting to notice sore eyes, darker rings around etc.
I thought it was just me being paranoid (as I had heard of this side effect), but now not so sure as seems to be getting worse.

I have read that if you apply on a wet scalp (towel dried) this causes more side eeffects as it absorbs more/quoicker? is this true? sometimes i have to as I dont have time to let it dry before work.

is there anything else i can try/use to help the eye side-effect?

I didn't have that problem when on foam, but I did get the same sides when I went to 15% minoxidil solution. I reduced the dosage from 1ml 2x a day to .5ml 2x a day and they went away. You might try just doing it 1x a day and see if that helps on the sides. I'm sure that 1x a day is still better than 0x

Hi mate, did you get actually sore/dry/watery eyes or just the bags? i'm just wondering if its from something else.
Since I'm using foam its harder to reduce the dose unless i just do 1x per day which im not too keen to do.

would having a wet scalp at times make a difference?
