While I haven't had this done, I would strongly advise against getting this treatment.
I have only heard bad things about biofibre / artifical implants. Apparently they require constant constant ongoing maintenance through reimplanting and removing the implant anchors from your skin due to hair breakages. This will result in a lot of head scarring and money lost.
There is also a severe ongoing risk for painful inflammation and deadly infections since your skin will always see the implants as a foreign body. Your skin will never bond with the implants, leaving wound openings where bacteria can get in and fester.
Here in Australia we do have clinics available that do the procedure (they are still legal here I think). I would never do it though.
It's a very flawed process now, but hopefully future developments will make it a viable solution. Personally I have more faith in improvements in artificial hair than in cloning real hair follicles.
That's awesome rupture, glad to hear you're an Aussie Rules fan! It's not often we hear that over here since NFL, NBA and Baseball seem to be all the rage over in the US.
Nah I don't play but I am a big Greater Western Sydney fan. I did play a bit in school though.
What made you start to like Aussie Rules if you don't mind my asking?
We have a fox cable channel here that shows sports from other countries and they show one game a week during the season all the way up to the Grand final which sucked. I had to watch it on you tube the day after. Great game I did not think anyone was going to beat the Swans. I like it because there are no timeouts just go. Just alot of action. Great athletes . I still don't have a team. I never get to see all the games

That overseas sports channel sounds pretty cool. Over here we have a Foxtel service (satellite pay TV) that has several sports including ESPN and a dedicated channel to just Aussie Rules with lots of news and highlights - you'd love it.
If you want to see all the games during the season, check out afl.com.au (I think they have both live streams and highlights).
I agree the Grand Final was awesome - it's been just over 60 years since the Bulldogs last got a premiership so that was good to see. The game's also been getting faster and faster with a greater focus on speed and endurance.
If yoi're looking for a side to follow, GWS is a great option
they have a league here in the states and they have a team in Nashville which is two hours away . Anyone can try out and play. If it was'nt so far I'd give it a go.
