Guys
When I first started losing my hair over a year and a half ago I panicked and saw an ad in the paper for Clive Clinics.
I booked an appointment and went in where I met with a so called "trichologist" or hair specialist. Basically the whole thing was a scam.
On consultation I clearly explained my situation and that I wanted to attempt to halt the hair loss and eventually try and regain some hair. I explained to them that I was new to the hair loss game.
The first thing they attempted to do was to sell me their products at ridiculously inflated prices, including stuff called Kankho and various supplements and shampoos. I was also put on an 8 month course of their formula at $200+ a month.
Basically I was never at any stage told about the only products that could actually help me. These are propecia and minoxidil (rogaine), the only FDA approved treatments for hair loss.
Instead I was told that a substance called Takanal was the only way to help me and they sold me product by product of theirs.
They cost me over $2,000 in eight months and more importantly cost me valuable time in my fight against hair loss.
